Drive Train

The robot has six wheels with two high-traction wheels in the middle

We are using chain to connect the wheels to to a pneumatic shifting gear box

Talon motor controllers for driving motors

Our drive train design is very compact and clean 

- Catapult

   Our shooter was designed early on and a prototype was made

   The final design uses surgical tubing and winch system to pull back the shooter

   The frame is made out of aluminum square tubing

   We are using a shifting gear box with Sim and Mini-Sim 

- Pickup

   A design for the pickup is currently being worked on
