Just in time for Thanksgiving - HS Kitchen Science spent all week making pie crusts and fillings and baking their pies. There were some impressive pies made: Apple, pumpkin, and chocolate 😋

With the State of Michigan passing a budget this month, we're happy to announce that the budget included Universal Free Meals for all students. Thanks to our Board of Education, Brimley students saw no lapse in our service and all students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost for the entire the year.

Attention parents: Brimley Area Schools are short a bus today so Olaf and Mickey will double up and all Bay Mills Club kids will ride Big Bird. There will be delays for Olaf and Mickey. Please help us spread the word 😊
Kitchen Science class completed "The Great Vegetable" challenge today. It brought a variety of dishes, and skill sets to the table. We had an array of fried rice, vegetable soup, protein burritos, ramens, and fajitas. Students spent all week studying many vegetables and their nutrients.
High School Kitchen has been working on measuring, cleaning, and safety in the kitchen. This week's recipe was "Brownies". The first week they made "Dirt Pudding" and the second week's recipe was "Minnesota Sushi". We are happy to be offering Kitchen Science to our high school students again.

If you are an athlete in 6-12th grade and play sports, you will need a completed MHSAA physical form before August 11 to play a fall sport.
Cross Country, Football and Volleyball start on Monday 8/11. You cannot practice without the MHSAA physical form.
Please contact Matt Bathey, Director of Athletics if you have any questions. The MHSAA physical form may be picked up in the High School or business office. It is also online at MHSAA.com.
