PARENTS NIGHT for Boys JV/Varsity Basketball will be held on Tuesday February 14th between the JV and Varsity game vs. PICKFORD. **Cancelled** The boys and girls basketball games for tonight, 1/19/23, have been postponed. Varsity Girls will play in Rudyard on Saturday, 1/21/23, at 1:00 pm JV and Varsity Boys will also play on Saturday, home against Rudyard. Time of game is still to be determined as we try to secure officials.

They are a class act company and the best in the business. We have always had one of the best gyms in the U.P…..but this may have put us to the top spot!!!!! Go blue! Hello Brimley Area Schools Community, On Friday, January 13th, we will be holding a ceremony dedicating our Middle School Gym to our long-time coach of both boys and girls basketball, Coach John Akkanen. On Friday, January 13th, starting at 5:45pm, Brimley will be hosting two girls’ basketball games. Our Junior Varsity will be playing Sault Ste. Marie first. Our Varsity girls will take on Engadine at approximately 8:00pm. The dedication ceremony will occur between the two games, starting at approximately 7:00pm. We are excited to invite the entire community to this event and to help us celebrate the career of our beloved coach.

For basketball games on 1/3, Thursday 1/5, and Saturday 1/7, please enter through the normal HS gym doors. All games will be played in our middle school gym until our high school gym renovations are completed. Concessions will be available at the concession room for every game. Thank you for your patience and understanding! It will be well worth it!!!! Go blue!!!

Middle School (7th & 8th) boys basketball practice will start on Tuesday 1/3/23 3:15-5:00 in the Middle School gym. Game schedules are located on our bays athletics website. Practice schedules will also be located there, but will be week to week until the HS gym floor is completed. All players must have a physical on file before beginning practice.

Brimley Bays would like to extend a big Thank YOU to our Sault Ste. Marie Meijer, MDOC Kinross Business Office, and Sault Wesleyan Church for their incredibly generous donations to The Tack Room. These funds will help keep the pantry stocked and help with winter items for kids and families. Thank you for helping our community strive.

Hello Sophomores and Parents, There is a change in times for the December 16th Health Careers trip to My Michigan Health (War Memorial Hospital). The times of the tour will now be: 11:50 am - 2:30 pm. The bus will leave school at 11:20 am. All sophomores will eat lunch before they leave. Students will arrive back at school at 3:00pm. Attached is the modified form with the adjusted times for Friday. Again, please have your student return the form if they DO NOT plan on attending the troip Please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.
