Students have trays assigned to keep their work in class until it is collected/due.

     All Classes

Assignments that have due dates given in advance [i.e. assigned on Monday due on Friday; sketchbook] are due the first day a student who is absent returns.

Extra Credit is given throughout the year.  It will be an additional part of an assignment and earn extra points to that assignment/category or a completely separate assignment which will add to the test category.  [8th grade Art separate assignmetn Extra Credit will be added to the participation grade.]   Extra credit assignments have only 1 day grace: if it is late 1 day, it is 10% less; if it is 2 days late it is not accepted.

Passes:  Students are expected to use their own passes to go to the bathroom, locker, office, or for any personal reason.  They need to bring their pass page to class in order to use it.

Tardies are counted when a student is not in class BEFORE the bell BEGINS to ring.

Late Work:     Work, Projects, and Labs will be graded 10% lower for each day turned in late.  If a student has an excused absence, then the grade will not be lowered.  No work will be accepted after 1 week or the unit test has been given to the class.

Tests:   Retakes are given within 1 week of the first test.  It will be graded 15% lower and the retake test will be the final test grade.
